My MacBook gave me the red warning. Under 10%.
I ignored it. Right in the middle of writing this email, it shut down completely.
So now I am picking up where I left off.
This happens to me all the time. I think it has turned into an investor reflex. A voice inside says: nothing will happen, keep going. If it shuts down, you turn it back on.
Investors speak a very different language.
I have sat on both sides of the table for a long time. I cannot fully call myself an investor, and I cannot fully call myself a founder. I am somewhere in between.
I invest. On paper, my profile says investor. But when I talk to founders, I always end up on their side of the table. I can share their pain and their struggles. When they have an idea, I act less like a mentor and more like a co-founder.
I do everything investors and mentors are not supposed to do. I get excited for them.
Real investors have a jargon of their own. Sometimes even I struggle to follow it. Especially at conferences and meetings like that, it gets so dry. Only numbers.
I started my working life as a banker. I understand what they are saying. And still, sometimes, it feels like we need a translator.
So I turned it into a short scenario.
A partner, a founder, and a translator in between.
I spent $0 to make this animation. I just wrote the scenario and worked with Claude Opus 5.5. And yes, I admit it, Codex audited it.
I used to spend whole weekends on this. Now I have learned shortcuts and a lot of small tricks for making animations, and you can do it too.
I am not a professional animation expert, and I am still improving. But I feel the progress. In the last two months I can do so much more with animation, and I love it.

The MacBook is back on now. Next time the red warning comes, I will probably ignore it again. Old reflex.
Hit reply and tell me which investor line you would want translated next. And if you try one of these roles, tell me how it went. If you think it is a bad idea, tell me that too. I read every one.
